THE END!...or the beginning

Hi, it has been waaay too long since my last update. Things have been super awesome and  2012 has been an absolutely amazing year. I finally started mushing some pixels around in my free time and here's my first personal sketch that I have done in a really long time. So I hope you enjoy :-)

In the Hall of the Mountain King

Had fun creating the impression of ancient architecture, and the idea that maybe once there was a great building there. The painting started out pretty abstract until I was happy with the composition. I then blocked out the general forms. I used some photo ref I had from a recent trip to Yosemite. Using the clone brush with opacity settings I threw some texture and color around....then I grabbed a little brush and rendered away haha :-)

Long lost...

Here is a little sketch I started a little while back and threw on the back burner for a bit. I just recently pulled it out and added a little polish for kicks, Hope you like it!

game.....

I have been working recently on a pretty cool Iphone game...This was my first pass at one of the levels, the style was too rough and real, so it got rejected. The second version I did that was more cartoony definitely was more appropriate for the game. But I do like this one, so I think I might finish it out...and either way I had a fun time painting it.
