Monster!

I Started off yesterday sketching a nice little landscape. I then thought, jeez I always paint a landscape, maybe I should do something crazy and paint something that I have never painted before. I started thinking, and I realized I have never really painted a monster before so I thought I would give it a shot and pull out all the tricks I know haha...mostly turquoise rim lighting and overly thick atmosphere haha...

Man Eater!

Just did this for a "Drawing Jam" over at CGhub...It was man eating plants...I probably should have spent a little more time planning it and polishing it...But it was more of a free sketch for fun and boy did I have fun :-)

Oops...Ment to post these ages ago... Just messing around with some new approaches....love my landscapes :-) Just trying to have more fun and freedom and less worry about the way a photo interprets light....
